BMAX Y13 Notebook Laptop Review: A Multi-use Notebook with a Convertible Display

Having a laptop that can rotate up to 360-degree on its axis can be a very big surprise. BMAX has strived to obtain a laptop that is very attractive to the audience. Fortunately, the BMAX Y13 laptop has a convertible touchscreen of 360-degree to give a total of 5 usage modes. Design and build

The BMAX Y13 is a simple and straightforward laptop that comes with a keyboard setup attachment and an LED panel. But BMAX was very creative as they brought the innovative design in the Y13 laptop. It is a flexible approach that absorbs the modes on the axis. Its LED panel can rotate to achieve the physique of a tablet. On the front side, it has a 13.3-inch screen with a narrow bezel and a camera on the top. It is a metal-made surface and in the middle, and has a company logo on the backplate. On the lower part, there is the backlit keyboard without a numeric keyboard and a touchpad below that works as a mouse. The laptop’s physical weight provides 30.75 x 20.80 x 1.47 mm body and weighs 1.25g.


The BMAX Y13 display adopts 13.3-inch full HD IPS full screen when adjusted in the 5mm narrow bezel. Therefore, it provides 10-point precision and provides 1920 x 1080p resolution and an 81.7% screen-to-body ratio, and has an ultra-thin panel with 14.7mm.

Software and processor

This is a very important segment where the entire laptop’s functionality revolves around. The Y13 laptop has installed the windows 10 OS to bring a hassle and cool free performance on the software.  On the processor chipset, there is the Intel Gemini Lake N4100 quad-core 1.1 GHz processor with 14nm process technology. The 8th gen processor is 30% faster than the previous editions. The 9th generation UHD Graphics 600 is welcomed in the graphics processing unit of the laptop with a maximum frequency of 700MHz.

In the storage department, the laptop has hosted 8GB space in the slot and the LPDDR4 format. The internal storage is accounted for 256 GB SSD in the M.2 hard disk interface. If more space is needed, you can use the external SD card of up to 256 GB which marks a total of 512 GB.


Almost all laptop manufacturers provide a camera on the LED panel. The BMAX also follows the loads and traditions of the laptop with a 1mp camera to facilitate photos and video chat.

Additional features

This laptop also brings a dual-band WI-FI, Bluetooth, MS Office, Bluetooth, multiple multimedia files formats supports, a microphone and inbuilt speakers, a 3.5mm audio jack, DC port, backlit keyboard, TF Card port, and various other useful and daily use specification, all of which makes it the best laptop in the market today.
